Earlier this month, Howard University announced that its prodigal
son, millionaire music mogul Sean Combs (also known as P. Diddy or Puffy
Daddy depending on when you graduated college), had been tapped to
deliver the keynote address to the class of 2014 on May 10.
On Wednesday night, Combs, who will receive an honorary doctorate from the historically black college, was up late with a notebook, a pen and Juice Generation smoothie — all the ingredients for a hit speech.
“I am up late night working on the most important speech of my life!!!,” wrote Combs on Instagram. “I am so humbled to be honored by my Howard family to receive an honorary doctorate and be able to come back home to deliver the keynote at commencement! Become apart of it-Give me some advice on my speech!!”
Nearly 36,000 fans have alreadly “liked” the mega-producer’s post and a few actually offered some advice, from “be yourself!” to “hire someone to help you.”
